Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning
The Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning enables professional advisers to develop their specialist planning skills, providing clear delineation from mainstream advisers.
The Diploma builds on existing skills and develops knowledge gained through previous studies and workplace training. It also consolidates and advances work already completed within the Diploma of Financial Planning.
The Diploma covers essential topics which are crucial to all financial planners:
- Personal tax and trust planning
- Business financial planning
- Pension planning
- Investment planning
- The financial planning process
On completion of the Diploma advisers are better prepared to offer a sophisticated and comprehensive approach to financial management ensuring that they provide their clients with a high level of service.
Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma advisers are eligible for Chartered Financial Planner status (subject to a minimum of 5 years experience although not necessarily post qualification).
This is the premium title for the professional financial adviser and gives them parity with other professionals such as accountants and solicitors.
