New research shows there is a lack of understanding around the increased freedom changes to pensions. From 6 April 2015, people over 55 can choose to withdraw their pension savings as they wish. Taking the whole pension pot as cash, for example, comes with tax implications that according to the research, 59% of people aged over 55 do not understand the changes.
