A study by MetLife has found that people over 50s would consider learning new skills or retraining to maintain their working life. The traditional assumption of retirement is changing and those surveyed reaching retirement age; don?t feel ready to retire some surveyed feel they are not yet financially ready to retire. The findings show how increased life expectancy has raised the need to earn more for a retirement income, and many regret not taking professional advice on planning effectively for retirement.
