Many parents view a good education as an investment. The cost of an independent school could end up being about the same as buying an average home in the UK. Private school fees continue to grow faster than both inflation and UK wages each year, on average, the increase is around 3.5%. Not forgetting the cost of school trips, school uniform and extra-curricular activities the financial sacrifice of independent school could feel out of reach. However there are some ways in which you could manage the cost such as only beginning independent schooling at secondary level, and paying a lump sum in advance to the school to get a better deal on the amount of fees.
