Equalising pension ages is now beginning as women will now qualify for the State Pension at the same age as men at 65. These plans began 25 years ago, and since then State Pension has been undergoing radical changes. Once of which is the plan to increase the State Pension age from 66 to 67 between 2026 and 2028.
