If you are Self-employed or earning below the Lower Earnings Limit and not eligible for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) what can you do? On the 13th of March and for the duration of the outbreak of COVID-19 the requirements of the Minimum Income Floor will be temporarily relaxed. You could also attend a Jobcentre Plus appointment and you might be eligible for New Style Employment and Support Allowance. Support from your Local Authority in England and a Hardship Fund may also be something you are entitled to.
